The overall goals will be to leverage the opportunities and activities offered through Clin-STAR Coordinating Center and extend its reach by:

  • Enhancing and expanding current Clin-STAR activities with increased attention to and training of leaders and mentors in the concepts of DEIA, mentoring diverse transdisciplinary clinician-scientists, and expanding resources to address DEIA.
  • Piloting new initiatives and develop enduring training materials with a DEIA lens to understand and address the intersection of health disparities and aging research that will establish the foundation for broad implementation and sustainability.

Updates on the new and expanded programming will be available soon!
